My name is Sarah

From an early age I wanted to become a veterinarian. I grew up with animals with my parents in Enschede, we had a very sweet golden retriever, Cindy. A young calico cat once walked up to a restaurant and turned out not to belong to anyone, so she was allowed to come with us. A month later, Lapje had three kittens, in my bed! A week later, Lapje wanted to go outside again, so she left the kittens with Cindy to look after. He didn’t dare to move anymore!

I live in Amsterdam with my boyfriend and British Shorthairs Coconut and Beer. I graduated as a companion veterinarian in 2016. Afterwards I gained experience in various practices, and also worked in England for a year. That’s where I became enthusiastic about dentistry! In Dublin I followed two one-week dental training courses at ESAVS. I have been fully committed to this for about three years now, but I still really enjoy doing consultation hours when that suits me! Every Tuesday and sometimes also on Monday, I perform dental treatments on dogs and cats here in the clinic. You can contact me for simpler dental treatments with dental X-rays and a dental examination, but also for more extensive surgical extractions, fillings, and much more. I like to think about dental patients who have been to a colleague.

What I like so much about this clinic is the open, involved atmosphere. Our entire team is motivated to provide the best care to patients and their owners every day. It gives me a good feeling to know that animals are called the next day after an operation or if they are ill to ask how they are doing. If something is wrong, we can help in time.
